Register on https://www.hitslabs.com/register-individual as a pet owner. Look for an e-mail from noreply@hitslabs.com and follow the instructions to create a password. After 24 hours use https://www.hitslabs.com/user/forgot_password if you have not set a password yet. Login at www.hitslabs.com and click the prompt to add a pet profile. Fill the form and submit it. By selecting your veterinarian from the suggested list as opposed to entering it freeform, record collection is expedited. If your license is a renewal you should be able to enter at least one current license number and due date. This helps the Municipality in which you are licensing to immediately issue the license in many cases where new records are not required. Pay for your license by clicking the "license your animal" link from the left hand side (when using a desktop/laptop computer, above when using most mobile devices). The bill-to and ship-to addressed reflect those in your defaults. Make sure these are current before licensing and they will fill easily into the necessary fields. To update your address and other profile info go to https://www.hitslabs.com/user/profile/edit or navigate from the Member Menu when logged in.Municipalities
Request access to the free service by filling in https://www.hitslabs.com/register-enterprise completely unless your city is already listed in https://www.hitslabs.com/search in which case you should contact HITSLab LLC through https://www.hitslabs.com/contact to request access. Once a Username (your e-mail submitted) and your password have been established you will see any users who have "connected" to your municipality to share information. Click the user name and you will see the profiles for the animal(s) created. Currently Dogs, Cats or Horses are allowed. By clicking an animal profile you can examine information contributed by Pet Owners, Municipalities or Veterinarians to date. Once you have reviewed the required information and issue a license you can enter a historical license. By doing so you provide a "return receipt" to the pet owner who receives notice. The convenience fee charged to the pet owner per transaction during a license request is dependent on passive or active use by the municipality. Active participation can reduce the rate significantly. Convenience fee can include rebates for return postage values.Veterinarians
